Biography

G. Maliek Ferebee joined DLH in 2021 and serves as the company’s Chief Human Resources Officer. Maliek works to ensure that DLH has the talent and resources necessary to grow and enhance the business and is responsible for all aspects of the company’s human resources operations.

Throughout his career, Maliek has proven to be a forward-thinking executive adept at translating business vision into actions that improve performance, profitability, growth, and employee engagement. His infectious enthusiasm for maximizing talent and potential is of tremendous value to our world-class workforce. In 2019, Maliek was named one of WashingtonExec‘s ‘Top 10 HR Executives to Watch’ in recognition of his leadership, innovation, and excellence.

Maliek holds an MBA with a concentration in human resource management and a bachelor’s degree in philosophy. He also earned a certificate in Executive Development from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton Business School and a certificate of Leadership Management from UCLE Anderson Business School. He is a board member of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) and a member of the Washington Executive Human Resources Council, among other professional associations and affiliations. In his free time, Maliek serves as a mentor with the Big Brothers Big Sisters Organization and as a mediator at the Conflict Resolution Center of Montgomery County (CRCMC), Maryland.
